People come all the time. It wasn’t a new thing for her. They came to poke and prod at her, hoping to get some sort of savage reaction out of her. It never happens though; instead she merely watches them, lays down and ignores them. Usually, that’s enough to chase them away.
Although…not this man. He hovered around her cage throughout the day, and she suspected he was just waiting for an opportunity to come and visit her one on one. So, she waited for him, and when he finally approached her; she gave out a low grumble from deep within her belly. Sarabella was not one to be played with.
It was odd, even to someone who had only absently studied large predators out of curiosity. Liam would think the animal would be pacing, frustrated with the confines. Yet here it was, as if extending it's large paw in greeting - or maybe in temptation. For all he knew, the creature simply wanted to lure him in and take a bite out of him. Still, he couldn't help but wonder.
Hovering only a few feet back, sure to be out of reach should the tiger try and reach out, the firefighter made eye contact with beast. ❝ What was that sound you made... Are you a wild thing? ❞ It was a silly question, and he too must have seemed just as stupid talking to a circus animal.
Sweetly, she stretched her paw out to show him. Easily, she acknowledged that she had surprised him by her response. Most were easily bewildered, which sometimes offended her. She set down her paw, and sat straight as she held his gaze. Then, once again with softness; she let out another rumble from deep within her belly.
And she brought her head closer to where he stood, and she gave him a pointed look, as if waiting for him to respond.
“Are you just going to gape all day or are you going to help me with the lock.”
Sarabella? Never heard of that name before,
however she was not going to comment as
she noticed the female seemed to be a little
on edge while asking for her help. “What is it
you need from me?”
It was easy to notice her confusion, she
didn’t blame her. Though right now
she is desperate and she can’t wait.
“I know you barely know me…but I
need your help. A long time ago; I was cursed…
I was wondering if you could help me break it, or try to.”
——“No, just your attempts to be sneaky failed miserably.”
”Oh. Well, I’m trying my hardest to escape my cage for a while. My eagerness must’ve gotten to me. Surely you can relate.”
——“Apparently you can’t.”
"Actually, I have very good hearing. Have I said something that offended you?”
Davina slowly turned her head to
look upon the female face,
"—Who are you?" That was to be
the first question.
She licked her lips, glancing around
as if anyone were around. “Sarabella,”
Then she gave a slight smile. “I need your help.”
"I’m busy..” She lies while
pretending to be preoccupied.
She doesn’t back off, she needs this.
"I was told to come to you."
——“I can hear you.”
